flooded studio renovation

It was a little disturbing to discover that my studio floor was wet under the carpet squares, the next disturbing thing was discovering how much stuff I had and really didn't need. I have been in this little studio for the past 12 years and thought if I hadn't needed or looked for it in 12 years it has to go.
It is quite cathartic getting rid of excess stuff.
Everything got moved outside under cover while the clean up happened.

Such a mess, but only temporary, although it seemed to take ages.

Removing the tiles uncovered the source of the icky odour,
they were unusable.

My high bench was not attached to the wall so that made it easier to replace the tiles under the bench once the leak was found and fixed.

Gotta love the door stop, so classy 😂

The water was coming in in between the wall and the lining so this was a good opportunity to change the wall covering. I decided on peg board so I can attach things.
